Summer Football Camp for Unaccompanied Minors
During the Summer period of 2018, Organization Earth collaborated with UNICEF and the Youri Djorkaeff Foundation for the realization of Summer Football Camp for Unaccompanied Minors. The 2-month camp took place in two municipal fields of Athens and more than 360 participants took place in daily football trainings and weekly extracurricular activities.
Indoor Climbing
During the Summer period of 2020, Organization Earth collaborated with ClimbAid, a Switzerland-based international NGO, for the implementation of a pilot program that offered indoor climbing activities for unaccompanied children. The program used indoor climbing activities as agents for fostering social values including respect and teamwork. The program’s target group referred to unaccompanied refugee children, mainly teenagers, coming from shelters of unaccompanied minors in Athens.
